Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Pacemark is a Dan Cumberland Labs project. This policy explains how we handle information collected through pacemark.ai and the Pacemark Signal Scorer.

Information we collect

When you use the Signal Scorer, we collect the information you enter at the results step: your name, email address, role, company name, industry, company size, and stated AI intent. We also collect your assessment responses, scores, maturity level, bottleneck, and the result link created for you.

We collect limited technical and visit information, including browser and device details, pages viewed, referral source, campaign parameters, and approximate location inferred from an Internet Protocol address. Result pages also send a non-reversible result-link fingerprint, firm name, and level to our hosting logs so we can understand whether shared links are being opened as intended.

How we use information

We use this information to show and preserve your assessment result, respond to a request, improve Pacemark, understand site use, and send follow-up or marketing communications related to Pacemark and Dan Cumberland Labs. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

Services that help us operate

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic, Kit to manage email subscriptions and assessment follow-up, and Vercel to host the site and its form endpoint. These providers process information for their services under their own policies. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and shared results

Pacemark stores a small result-ownership marker in your browser so you can reopen your own result. We keep first-touch campaign attribution in session storage for the length of your browser session. A shared result link contains your assessment data in the part of the address after the number sign; that portion is not sent to our server during a normal page load. Treat result links as private and share them only with people you want to see the result.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. To make a request, email dc@dancumberlandlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.

Children and changes

Pacemark is for business users and is not directed to people under 18. We may update this policy by posting the revised version here and changing the date above.
